Our Purpose

In response to God's call, it is the mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Monrovia to glorify God by worshipping the Father in spirit and in truth.(John 4: 23-24)

by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in the church, in the community and throughout the world(Matthew 28: 18-20)

by nurturing believers and equipping the members for the work of the ministry(Ephesians 4: 11-13)

by ministering to those in need(Matthew 25: 35-36, 1John 3: 16-18)

and by providing Christian fellowship(1John 1: 3)

all under the direction of the Holy Spirit, according to Christ's example.
